Progress report: Taking a look at Ting in Centennial

Centennial progress report

Happy New Year, Centennial! We are excited to kick off the year because we have a lot to look forward to in 2020.

In the spirit of new year goal setting and planning, we thought we would take a quick look back at what we were able to accomplish in 2019.

We’re happy to announce that we’ve completed construction in 10 neighborhoods. These neighborhoods include Heritage Greens, Homestead Farm II, Homestead Farm, Homestead in the Willows (West), Mill Creek, Ridgeview Hills South, Nob Hill, Piney Creek, Highlands at Piney Creek, and Hills at Piney Creek. That encompasses over 9000 homes. In 2019 we drilled more distances than any other year since starting construction in Centennial: over 250,000 feet!

We held six major phase events in the neighborhoods of Homestead Farm, Homestead Farm II, Heritage Greens, Mira Vista, Piney Creek, Ridgeview Hills South, Mill Creek, Orchard Valley and Homestead in the Willows. The free food, face-painting, balloon making, and the Ting presence to answer questions was a huge benefit for the residents and Ting. We had over 1500 neighbors combined attend our events and each was a success!

Ting was also the major sponsor for Centennial’s Annual State of Our City Address, an important event to discuss the success and growth of the city. There were 150 attendees consisting of elected officials, business owners, and major companies. Working with the City of Centennial is something that makes us proud. It’s a relationship we truly cherish.

Our focus for 2020 is to complete construction on our data center. In addition, we will need to complete construction on an east fiber hut and a west fiber hut. Completing this infrastructure will allow us to light all the neighborhoods we worked on in 2019. The Summer of 2020 will be an extraordinary time for Ting and the residents of Centennial.
