Hey Centennial, this post will let you know what Ting Internet has been up to in your town over the last year. We started construction in late 2017 and had a full year of building the fiber network in 2018. We attended and hosted a bunch of events and forged new community partnerships.
Thanks to everyone in Willow Creek 1 and 2, Walnut Hills and Hunters Hill and Willow Creek 3 and Willow West who came out to our phase parties. We had a fantastic time meeting you all and chatting about crazy fast fiber Internet coming to your neighborhood.
The network has expanded a fair bit over the last year, and we’ve worked or are working in a few different neighborhoods, including Willow Creek 1, Willow Creek 2, Walnut Hills, Hunters Hill, Willow West, Willow Creek 3 and Foxridge.
The network got lit: an official lighting ceremony
In September, the Ting team and city officials celebrated the official lighting of the Ting network in Centennial. Thanks to Ike H. (pictured below, center) and his family for letting us throw a little party outside their place.
Events we sponsored
Our team sponsored and attended a bunch of events this year. We loved meeting everyone around town! Here are some of the highlights.
Laser light show
Ting was at the annual Centennial Under the Stars Concert and Laser Light Show. With food trucks, face painting and a dazzling laser light show, it was an evening not to be missed.
The Spooky Streets event
Ting was a Gold Sponsor of the Streets at SouthGlenn Spooky Streets event. There was a costume parade, a face painter, a balloon artist, live music, food and lots of other spookiness.
Trail West Elementary fun run
Ting was a sponsor at Trail West Elementary’s fun run fundraiser. The proceeds of the fundraiser went towards supporting the school’s STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) education program. Thanks to all who came out in support of Trail West Elementary!
Ting TV coming soon
In June, we announced that Ting TV would be launching in Ting Towns across the US. You can sign up for updates and stay in the know about Ting TV while we keep working on developing an awesome TV product, powered by Ting fiber.
