We’re pleased to announce that our first makerspace is live in Ting town, Westminster, MD! The workshop will be open and available to the public this fall. Updates to come.
We’ll be bringing this innovative community resource to each Ting Internet town that doesn’t already have a makerspace. We’ll provide access to amazing tech tools like a 3D printer, CNC router, Arduino boards — everything one might need to experiment with a computer or electronics project, including crazy fast fiber Internet.
Check out the video of our grand opening to learn more about the technology we’ll be using and see some of the tools in action.
Looking for something similar here in Charlottesville? Tinkersmiths is the local community-oriented makerspace. They offer workshops and classes ranging from electronics to programming, woodworking, and robotics. Their website gives details on how to get involved if you’re interested.
