Construction status and upcoming festivities

Fiber installation

Want to see something neat?

In the above photo, Holly Springs Installation Manager, Tim Herzog, holds up a 12-way conduit. Each colored “micro conduit” will carry a fiber strand to an individual customer’s premises. This is just one of the types of conduit we use in building the fiber network.

Construction crews are continuing to roll out the fiber network to Phase 1 residents, despite bouts of uncooperative weather. Stay tuned for more network updates coming soon, and also keep an eye out for some video footage we recently filmed in Holly Springs.

Friday Flicks at the Field

Mark your calendar for our last Friday Flick at the Field on October 14th. Bring the entire family out to Salamanders Stadium to watch a Halloween classic, Hocus Pocus. Admission is free, it’s on us!

The movie starts at 8:30pm, but come early for the fun and games. The gates open at 7pm and there will be food and beer available for purchase.

SproutFest at the Farmers Market

Bring the kids to the market next weekend for SproutFest Kids Appreciation Day! There will be an ice cream social, a bounce house, fun activities like pumpkin decorating, face painting and prizes.

SproutFest is October 15 from 8:30am to 12:30pm.

We’ll be setting up the Ting tent this weekend too, so now you know where you can seek shelter if it rains. It will be the perfect chance to stop in, say hello, and ask any questions you may have about Ting’s crazy fast fiber Internet.

HollyFest 2016

We’re proud to be a sponsor of HollyFest this year. Come on down and join the town of Holly Springs for this annual celebration.

HollyFest is happening, rain or shine, on Saturday, October 29 from 10am to 4pm at Jefferson L. Sugg Farm Park at Bass Lake (map).

There will be live entertainment, Arts & Crafts, activities and games for the kids and all sorts of tasty-good treats. Of course, there will be rides too, including a haunted hayride on the Sugg Farm. Hayride tickets are $5, but admission to the festival is free. Hope to see you there!
