Welcome to Ting’s progress reports for Wake Forest. In these updates, we’ll offer as much information as we possibly can on the fiber network build process. We’ll also talk about Ting events, promotions and some of the work we’re doing in the Wake Forest community. Follow us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to stay up on the latest.
Hey Wake Forest! In our last construction update, we announced Phase 2 construction would be underway this summer. Today we’re pleased to report that our crews are currently working in Phase 2. Work also continues in Phase 1 of the fiber network build.
Phase 3 construction is up next in Bennett Park, Holding Ridge, Pineview Estates, Tyler Run, Dacus Place, Thornrose and Danforth. We currently anticipate starting work in Phase 3 before the end of summer.
Didn’t see your neighborhood?
If you don’t see your neighborhood represented in our phase map just yet, that means we can’t offer an ETA today. It doesn’t mean we’re not coming. We publish construction updates every two months. Keep an eye on these construction updates for more information coming soon.
Where should we build next?
Help us decide by pre-ordering Ting. Pre-orders help us determine which neighborhoods have the most demand for Ting and can impact our build plans. Head to ting.com/wakeforest and enter your address to pre-order gigabit Ting Internet and save $250 on your set up costs. That gets you a free installation (usually $199) plus a $50 credit to go on your second month’s bill.
The Ting Space
Construction on the Ting Space has started at 242 Main Street in Holly Springs. What will the Ting Space be? A place where the community can gather. You’ll be able to learn more about Ting and fiber Internet, get online for free and test out gigabit speeds.
Ting around town
The Ting Team took part in the Friday Night on White Street tradition in Wake Forest! We had a great time among the thousands of town residents who all set up camp on White Street to enjoy the amazing food and live music.
