Fiber network construction moves forward in Wake Forest

Fiber network construction moves forward

Welcome to Ting’s fiber network progress reports for Wake Forest. In these updates, we’ll offer as much information as we possibly can on the fiber network build process. We’ll also talk about Ting events, promotions and some of the work we’re doing in the Wake Forest community. Follow us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to stay up on the latest.

Hey Wake Forest! In our last construction update, we announced that construction of the fiber network was planned for Phase 3, underway in Phase 2 and that we’re continuing work in Phase 1.

The good news is that we completed construction in Phase 2 and are now waiting to start blowing fiber to those areas! We are also pleased to announce that construction has now started in Bennett Park, Holding Ridge, Pineview Estates, Tyler Run, Dacus Place, Thornrose and Danforth.

Didn’t see your neighborhood?

If you don’t see your neighborhood represented in our phase map just yet, that means we can’t offer an ETA today. It doesn’t mean we’re not coming. We publish construction updates every two months. Keep an eye on these construction updates for more information coming soon.

Where should we build next?

Help us decide by pre-ordering Ting. Pre-orders help us determine which neighborhoods have the most demand for Ting and can impact our build plans. Head to ting.com/wakeforest and enter your address to pre-order gigabit Ting Internet and save $250 on your set up costs. That gets you a free installation (usually $199) plus a $50 credit to go on your second month’s bill.

The Ting Space

Construction on the Ting Space is underway at 242 Main Street in nearby Holly Springs. What will the Ting Space be? A place where the community can gather. You’ll be able to learn more about Ting and fiber Internet, get online for free and test out gigabit speeds.

Keep an eye out on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for progress updates.

Ting around town

The Ting Internet team joined Ting Mobile to talk to excited residents and business owners at the Wake Forest Home & Garden show. We had a great time over the two-day show representing Ting, getting to know local residents and answering questions about crazy fast fiber Internet.
