Ting Mobile launches new plans with unlimited talk, text and data starting at just $45

New pricing for Ting Mobile customers

Today, we’re excited to announce several new plans that represent a bold new approach for Ting Mobile. 

Beginning today, customers can now choose plans based on how much high-speed data they need:

  • Flex plan includes unlimited talk and text for $10 per month, plus pay-per-use high-speed data at $5 per shared GB. For customers who use a feature phone or turn off data entirely, it makes for a great unlimited talk and text plan.
  • Set 5 plan includes unlimited talk and text, plus 5GB of high-speed data for $25 per month.
  • Unlimited plans include unlimited data, talk and text starting at $45 per month with options for hotspot data.

With these new pricing plans, more people can “choose smarter” by choosing Ting Mobile.

High-speed data top-ups 

When we say high-speed data, we mean data over LTE and 5G, where available. If you run through your plan’s high-speed data allotment, you have the option to buy more high-speed data for $5 per GB at any time in your Ting Mobile account control panel. High-speed data top-ups are activated in your current billing cycle and carry over to the end of the next cycle. Grabbing a high-speed data top-up doesn’t change your plan. 

Things that don’t change

We also want to make things clear, both for our existing customers and for those of you considering Ting Mobile for the first time. While these fantastic new prices mark a change for the business, our commitment to the best mobile experience and customer service with no contracts or gotchas remains.

A little on Ting Mobile rates

Ting Mobile rates were a revolution when we first set out to change the mobile industry, and a lot has changed in those nine years. 

While Ting Mobile is moving away from pay-as-you-go rates for new customers, existing Ting Mobile customers can keep their current plans. 

Existing customers who are interested in trying the new Flex, Set 5 or Unlimited plans can easily move their lines over with compatible phones. We’re reaching out to customers whose accounts and phones are ready to make the switch with more details. 

We’ll follow up with customers whose situations are a little more complicated in the coming weeks.

It’s worth noting that once you switch to new Ting Mobile plans, there’s no going back to old Ting Mobile rates. We are no longer able to activate (or re-activate) lines on the old rate structure.
