Thomas’ family uses four devices and is currently saving over $100 a month on their mobile bill after switching to Ting. As a recent Michigan customer of just four months, he loves Ting’s control panel and the variety of features it offers.

“I monitor my data usage much closer than I did before Ting. I try to take advantage of FaceTime audio and iMessage when in Wi-Fi zones.”

Using the Ting control panel, Thomas is able to take complete control over his family’s mobile usage and monthly bill.

“I don’t let my kids use cellular data except in limited situations.”

“I’m constantly trying to convince people to switch. Most people think there must be a catch when I explain Ting to them. If anything your business model is too good.”

In this first instalment, we meet Sarah Dowdell and her family.

Sarah Dowdell came to Ting late in 2013. Since then, her family has been saving an average of $35 to $40 per month.

“I love that my husband and I can both have smart phones for half of what we were paying for flip phones through T-Mobile. Through the website, it is incredibly easy to monitor our usage, so we are always aware of how much our bill will be. The customer service has been great!”

“I always brag about what a great deal we are getting for our phones. I explain that you can get all the same services for a fraction of the cost by switching to Ting.”
