Your Chrome browser on both Android and iOS includes a feature that can compress the data sent through your smartphone. Using Google’s servers, Chrome condenses images and other files to reduce your data usage by up to 50 percent!
By enabling this feature in the app, not only are you saving data, but you’re also saving money on your mobile bill. And that’s what we’re all about here at Ting.
Follow these steps to reduce data usage in Google Chrome
Open the Chrome browser.
Open Chrome’s Settings.
Scroll down to Advanced, tap Data Saver.
Set the switch in the top right to On.
