As a new addition to the Ting crew, it’s great to see how on the ball we are when it comes to the overall customer experience. All boasting aside, our hard working developers have been adding some sweet updates to Ting and we wanted to let you in on all the recent changes.
Here are the key developments we’re thrilled to share with you!
At Ting, we want you to have the most straightforward experience possible. We pride ourselves in offering uncomplicated services, and are always looking for ways to improve. Our main priority with the Ting Savings Calculator is providing an accurate assessment of your savings as easily as possible. Our newest update allows AT&T customers to use their customer account login and password to pull in actual minute, message and megabyte usage for the previous three months. This data will be plugged directly into the Ting Calculator. Needless to say, we don’t store logins or any personal data if you choose to use this Calculator function.
If you’re an AT&T customer looking to make the move to Ting, the benefits are obvious; get an instant calculation comparing what you pay with AT&T as compared with what you’d pay with Ting.
If you’re already a Ting customer, this latest calculator upgrade makes it easier to refer friends that are currently with AT&T. Just send them to your unique referral URL (which you’ll find in your Ting account dashboard) and suggest they use the calculator to see their savings first-hand.
In the last major update to the Ting Calculator, we added this auto bill populating feature for Verizon customers. No prizes for guessing what subsequent updates may bring.
Revamped About Page
Our new About page gives you a chance to meet the crew in charge! Check out video profiles of our execs to hear their thoughts on the mobile phone industry and how Ting does things differently. Our company beliefs are listed to ensure you know what our top priorities are, and we’ve added a timeline to outline some of our notable achievements.
The About page is another one that can make the Ting Refer a Friend case stronger. People what to know who they’re entering into a relationship with. Since it’s tough to meet in person (though you should totally come to one of our meet-ups and bring your friends!) we want our About page to explicitly lay out who we are and why we do what we do.
We’ve updated the referral process to keep you in the loop when your unique Ting Refer a Friend promo is used. When someone uses your promo code, you’ll receive two emails:
- The first email lets you know that your promo code has been used.
- The second informs you that your Ting account has been credited (i.e. the person you referred has paid his or her first Ting bill).
