In our Charlottesville progress reports, we talk about the Ting fiber build, events, promotions and some of the work we’re doing in the Charlottesville community. Check back regularly and follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to keep up to date on the latest.
Today, we are excited to announce that we are nearing the end of fiber construction in the Fry’s Spring build, so feel free to visit ting.com/cville to check out service in your area.
Woolen Mills, Martha Jefferson, and Barracks Rugby have ongoing work – with installs coming soon!
Ting is also available at Evergreen Builders’ newest development, Hyland Park. If you are building there, Ting will be available to all homes in both phases of the development.
Didn’t see your neighborhood?
If your neighborhood isn’t one of our announced areas, we don’t have an ETA for fiber coming to you just yet. We publish construction updates every two months. Keep an eye on these construction updates for more information coming soon.
Ting around town
If you live in Fry’s Spring, make sure you come by the Fry’s Spring Neighborhood Association’s annual Oktoberfest event on October 20 at Fry’s Spring Beach club from 3-5pm. The Ting Team will be hosting a face painter and food truck. Stop by to meet the team, ask questions and place your Ting Internet order in person!
In the latest community news, the Ting Team held a Lunch and Learn for realtors at Keller Williams Realty to train local realtors on the value that crazy fast fiber Internet adds to homes. Thank you to those who came out!
Ting also partnered with Computers4Kids and hosted a Tech Drive. Donations of headphones and wireless mice were donated from Ting customers and the community at large. These were then distributed at the Back to School Bash on August 17th, where local students received free back to school supplies.
In addition, Ting hosted two summer pool parties at the Fontana and Cascadia pool clubhouses with complimentary ice cream from the Sweet Tooth. Our team enjoyed talking with current customers while signing up new customers for crazy fast fiber Internet.
Ting is a proud sponsor of UVA Athletics and is excited to cheer on the Hoos this season. We kicked things off by chatting with Cav Man at a recent UVA Athletics event. If you attend any football games this season, make sure to log in to the free Ting Wi-Fi at Scott Stadium.
We had an amazing time at the Belmont Bash on Sep 21 with great music and awesome chats with Belmont residents about Ting gigabit Internet. Thank you to the Belmont Neighborhood Association for putting on such a fun party!
