Welcome to Ting’s community updates for Holly Springs. On this blog, we’ll offer as much information as we possibly can on the fiber network build process. We’ll also talk about Ting events, promotions and some of the work we’re doing in the Holly Springs community. Follow us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for event information, promotions and updates.
Hey, Holly Springs! In our last post, we talked about our Smart Install process and how we were working to get you connected. We’re really proud of what we were able to develop under a bit of pressure and in a short amount of time. Our installations have resumed and we’re excited to get you one step closer to that Crazy Fast Fiber Internet® you’ve been waiting for. If you’re curious about our new process and what it entails, check out our Smart Install video guide. Otherwise, read on for our latest updates around town.
Get Ting Internet today
We’re excited to announce that Carrington and Brackenridge communities (Phase 6) are now active and residents can now order Ting Internet. Place your order and we’ll get your installation scheduled as soon as possible.
With the new Smart Install process mentioned above, we’re moving through the backlog of orders. In other words, you won’t be waiting long.
We’ve also extended the same benefits to Home Fiber orders that we previously only offered to pre-orders: a $250 discount that covers the installation cost with $50 left over to put toward your first bill.
Network construction continues
Our network build is moving forward and we recently started construction in Bridgeberry and Honeycutt Farm. If you live in either of those areas, you can now pre-order Ting Internet. When you pre-order, you’ll get $250 off your start-up cost. That covers installation and leaves $50 to go toward your first bill. You’ll also be one of the first to get installed when we’re ready to light up your street.
Ting around town
In March, we installed a Wi-Fi access point in the parking lot of Town Hall Commons for Holly Springs residents to access the Internet. We hope it was helpful and we’d love to hear about your experiences with it. We also contributed money to the food bank to help those in need and ran a gift card giveaway. It was a fun way for us to contribute to local businesses and stay in touch with you while socially distancing.
Last month, we ran a Nominate Your Teacher promotion on social media to recognize amazing teachers in our community who excelled at digital teaching—we know that couldn’t have been easy! The winning teacher will receive one free year of Ting Internet including installation fees, and the nominator will get a gift card to a local restaurant. Winners will be announced on social media so stay tuned.
We look forward to what this year will bring and hope we’re able to connect with you at events in the near future. We’ll keep you posted here and on our social media channels when we have more details to share.
