Bringing crazy fast fiber Internet to more residents of Sandpoint

In our Sandpoint progress reports, we offer as much information as we possibly can on the fiber network build process. We’ll also talk about Ting events, promotions and some of the work we’re doing in the Sandpoint community. Follow Ting Sandpoint on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for all the latest news and events.
Hey Sandpoint, in our last construction update, we let you know that construction was nearing completion in Phase 2 and active in Phase 3. As of right now, construction is ongoing in West Sandpoint as we work on connecting homes to the Internet. We’ve also started construction in some parts of downtown Sandpoint. Make sure you check the map below to see where our construction teams are working right now.
In July, we asked residents of Ponderay, Kootenai and Dover to pre-order Ting as a way to cast their vote and let us know that they want Ting crazy fast fiber Internet in their area. We are currently crunching the numbers from pre-orders to determine if we will be expanding to those areas. Every vote counts and there is still time to pre-order to make your voice heard.
As always, if you live or work in Phase 1, 2 or 3 of the network, you can order Ting service for your home or business and get the fastest, most reliable Internet available today. That’s gigabit fiber Internet from Ting.
Where will fiber go next? You tell us
Not ones to rest when there’s awful Internet access around, we’re deciding where to take the Ting fiber network next.
A pre-order in the surrounding area is a vote for fiber outside Sandpoint city limits. Maybe you want a reminder of why a Ting Internet pre-order costs $9.
Your $9 pre-order works like a vote to bring fiber to your neighborhood and will be fully refunded to you whether Ting ends up in your neighborhood or not. Don’t forget to pre-order and encourage your neighbors to do the same.
Already pre-ordered? Great! How forward-thinking of you. You can help to spread the word; let your friends and neighbors know they should do the same. Pre-orders can and do impact our build plans.
Remember, if you live in Ponderay, Kootenai or Dover, you can still let us know if you want Ting by pre-ordering at ting.com/sandpoint.
Didn’t see your neighborhood?
If your neighborhood isn’t one of our announced phases, we don’t have an ETA for fiber coming to you just yet. We publish construction updates every two months. Keep an eye on these construction updates for more information coming soon.
Ting around town
The Ting team was excited to attend a luncheon for CHAFE150 (Cycle Hard for Education) – an event hosted by the Sandpoint Rotary Club.
The CHAFE 150 is a wonderful fundraising event that offers 100, 80, 40 and 30-mile cycle routes to fundraise for local school district programs. All proceeds from this year’s fundraiser went to the Lake Pend Oreille School District to be used for programs that work on improving literacy rates through STEM activities!
Ting is honored to work with amazing organizations and be a part of events that have such a positive impact on our local community.
