#TEAMTING is a series where we showcase some of our favorite Ting customer stories, whether from an individual, a family, a tech-head or a retiree.
Maureen and her husband live in Charlottesville, Virginia and have an average bill of $50 a month for two iPhones with Ting.
We chatted with Maureen during Charlottesville’s annual Tom Tom Founders Festival last week and had the chance to ask why Ting is a good fit for her family.
“I use my iPhone constantly for work, I’m on Instagram, Twitter and I text often – basically use it the exact same way as before I switched to Ting, except our bill is $75 a month cheaper.”
“Our favorite thing about Ting is the customer service. I’ve only had two normal issues with my phone since switching, and I love calling and talking to a real person. It’s like getting to talk to your best friend who just happens to be tech savvy. They totally empathize with your frustration, and not your normal customer service experience where you feel like you have to convince them when you’re having a problem.”
Maureen and her husband were thrilled when the first Ting Internet town was announced.
“We had such a good experience with Ting when we first signed up, that we wrote in and asked if you could fix the internet because ISP customer support can be challenging, and six months later Ting announced that they were launching Internet in my community!”
“The fact that they responded to me and listened to what I said proved that I wasn’t talking to a huge machine and instead a real person.”
